GarlicZap – Quick & Effortless Garlic Peeling

So, I had one of these from pampered chef that I absolutely loved. It was used, used used so much in the kitchen and seriously made peeling garlic a breeze. Our teenage son was doing dishes one night and asked if it could go in the dishwasher. I said just hand wash it because it had only been used for 2 cloves that night. Here we are weeks later and I have turned my kitchen upside down looking for it. Nobody can tell me where it has up and walked off to. Long story short, I needed a new one and I needed it yesterday. I never realized how much I hated peeling garlic than these 2 weeks without having the silicone roller. So, I hopped on here and found this 2 pack and thought for under $6 I will give it a try. To my surprise, the silicone is just as heavy and thick as my pampered chef one was. Both of these are ribbed on the inside and I think it helps make it easier for the peel to come off. I didnt have to give it a lot of love to get them peeled. I have ran these through the dishwasher and they cleaned up perfectly and held up. They are also easy to hand wash as well and are extremely bendable to make most anything work. You can fit several cloves into one at a time to get several peeled. I am glad I went with this pack and that we have 2 of them now. I have them tucked in a safe spot so they do not go missing like the last one.

Love it. just put garlic in sleeve roll it around and it comes out without any skin! you don't have any garlic smell on your hands.

Wow! I wish I knew about this a long time ago! Could’ve saved my fingers and hands from all the peeling and smashing!Tip:1. Don’t overstuffed the sucker. 3-5 pieces at a time depending on thickness and size. If garlics fall out of the roller, you most likely put too much in to begin with. Also, make sure garlics are fairly lined in the middle before rolling.2. Don’t press and roll too hard that juices start squeezing out of those garlics. That makes the peel skins stick to the peeled garlics and case.3. Clean up is a breeze. Rinse with water. If you get a little garlic juice on them, just wiggle it with a little dish soap and water, then rinse. Like all things, if you wash it while juices & skins are still fresh, you shouldn’t need to clean it with a toothbrush or anything.

I received one as a gift and immediately bought more. The skin comes right off the garlic, no sticky hands, skin stays in tube. Bought one for my daughter-in-law and she willLove them too
